Product Description:

Type TFFN and TFN wires are recommended in most type of commercial and industrial applications where resistance to mechanical abuse is required. TFFN conductors are primarily used as machine tool wiring in conduit as branch or control circuits as specified in the National Electrical Code. Both TFN and TFFN conductors are suitable for use as Appliance Wiring Material as specified by Underwriters Laboratories Standard 758 where exposed to temperatures not exceeding 105? C or where exposed to oil at a temperature not exceeding 80? C.

TFFN and TFN copper conductors are annealed stranded (TFFN) or solid (TFN) copper. The conductors are insulated with a tough, heat and moisture resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC), over which a nylon (polymide) jacket is applied.

Specifications:

Type TFFN and TFN wire is Gasoline and Oil Resistant II and meets applicable ASTM specifications, UL Standard 66, UL Standard 758 and the requirements of the National Electrical Code. Type TFFN wire also meets UL Standard 1063. Type TEWN is cUL Listed and meets specifications of UL 758 and has an FT1 flame rating. The copper conductor voltage rating is rated at 600 volts.
